All Kamo-Gutsu shoes are lined with calf leathers that are REACH Certificated.
Entry 47 in Annex XVII of this law of the European Union restricts the presence of Chrome VI in leather articles coming into contact with the skin to a maximum of 3 mg/kg of the total dry weight.

CRAFTSMANSHIP
To develop Kamo-Gutsu we chose the Italian Marche region, famous for its artisan production of shoes.
We select the best Italian cow, buffalo and goat leathers combined with soft suedes and/or
technical fabrics, always in fresh, contemporary color combinations.
Some styles have been stone-washed for the ultimate vintage effect. This means however that certain models can contain stains, irregularities, blemishes or scratches.
Some leathers have been given a manual treatment with alcohol to get this used look.
These are in no way faults, but signs of an original and artisan handcrafted product.
Together with the full calf leather lining and the removable foam insole covered with calf leather
